2025 League Information for New Members

Welcome to league play at Rotary Park Lawn Bowls Club! Here’s what you need to know to make the most of your league experience:

Game times:
– Evening Leagues: 7:00 pm (please arrive by 6:45 pm)
– Sunday Draw League: 1:00 pm (please arrive by 12:45 pm)
– Thursday Draw League: 10:00 am (please arrive by 9:45 am)

1. Attendance & Format:
   Only attend the league(s) you are registered for — we’re unable to accommodate drop-ins from other leagues. Show up with your team, sign in, and we’ll organize matches and assign lanes based on who attends. There’s no formal schedule—just come when you’re able!

2. Equipment:
   We provide bowls and all equipment. Please wear flat-soled shoes. You’re welcome to bring your own bowls if you prefer.

3. Rain Call-Outs:
   Weather decisions are made 1 hour before game time:
   – 6:00 pm for league nights
   – 12:00 pm for Sunday Draw League
   – 9:00 am for Thursday Draw League
   Cancellations will be communicated by email, Instagram, and on the website.

4. Spirit of Play:
   Our leagues are fun, social, and inclusive—new members are always welcome and encouraged to join in!

   If you have questions, just find your league coordinator or a board member (see the list below).

Rotary Park Lawn Bowls Club is a friendly, all-volunteer organization. We do our best to keep things running smoothly and respond to questions as quickly as possible, but please be patient if our replies roll in a bit slower than a perfectly aimed bowl. Thanks for your understanding and support!

2025 Member Volunteer Requirements
As per Club mandates, each member is asked to volunteer on two separate occasions before season end. Check your email for the volunteer sign up sheet.
